  • I need some serious help. I would like to know how can I keep an appropriate heat/light gradient without having to change my day time bulb to the red incandescent night time bulb? What's gonna happen when I'm not home to change the lighting? What would you suggest, anyone??? The only thing that I can think of is to keep a red incandescent bulb on all the time and use a thermostat with a night drop feature.

  • i dont use a bulb since i have a tub or else it will melt the lid but u can just use a incandestent bulb "Red" u dont need to switch bulbs. just keep one on for the day time and during the night turn it off. hope this helped any more questions just ask

  • I'm getting a Ball Python for my birthday and im planning on naming him Apollo. Any tips you can give me on care? first snake ive ever had. Thank You!

  • @skatetilldeath23356 they are usually around 50 to 70 dollars at a pet store for a normal and also it's best to get them at a reptile expos I got mine for 20 dollars for a normal and for an albino I got her for 300 so great price at expos

  • How much are ball pythons?

  • @JordaneX27 you can actually use a heat monitoring system attached with heat wires, all you have to do ise put the wires under where the python lives along with some tin foil, then put your habitat material on top. the monitoring system is easy to use. the reason for the wiring underneath the python is because that is where all the activity happens inside the python, all the digestion occurs on the belly of it

  • You dont need a heating lamp all you need is a 40 qt tub with belly heat/ heating pad on the warm side like flex watt heat with a thermostat and aspen bedding or paper towel but i only use that on hatchlings and a water bowl and thats it

  • So cute! How much do they cost?

  • Is 28 inches a usual length for a 2 and 1 month old ball python?

  • good night
