Grilling something on your gas grill that requires more than 20 minutes of grilling time? You'll need to set up your grill for indirect heat so the meat won't burn before it's done.

  • Amazing how many negative and crude comments a simple cooking demonstration can generate... I found it interesting.. I could use a little more explanation on the settings of the burners to get the best circulation of the heat. I only have 4 burners, so what would be best for indirect heat on that configuration?

  • Who does she think we are? Nobody I know has a $5000, six burner stainless steal grill the size of a small car. I'm surprised she didn't show us how to have the personal chef cook it.

Show us something we can actually use!

  • @DannyBruiz also, "Putting a hand here" willl also BBQ your hand!

  • LMAO. She's trying to brush off her brand-spanking, never-before-used grill she got from a promotional deal. BTW as part of the promotional deal the mfrs. required that the grill never be shown with any signs of smoke, char, grease, or meat residue on it whatsoever.

BTW that brass brush tends to work a lot better when there's black stuff on the grill. Protip: we'll take your grill lot more seriously if it looks like you've actually used the thing.

  • Is she teaching a kindergarten class!!!!!!!! lmao

  • That brush she used is made in China, and the handle is made of plastic, and it will eventually melt and become worthless after 2 to 3 grills.

    Don't buy cheap brushes.

  • @Jackle61 For sure. I was referring to video

  • @senser1080 I wouldn't be to sure about that. Some of us could grill circles around her, especially on charcoal or smoking.

  • @Jackle61 Well I don't think any of them are grilling experts.

  • #1 always lift the lid of the grill...? Who's she talkin to. Wow, I sure hope I remember to put the key into the ignition of my car before I try to start it and go to work on Mon. When the burner lites, I must hear the "woosh". Or else it's not lit, She's an idiot, her producers are also. Stay off the grill, and away from this topic please!

  • thats a BIG ASS GRILL, i dont think i could fit it on my 5x10 ft patio.lol

  • I used this technique to smoke some chicken legs. In addition to indirect heat, I took the flavorizer bars off the burner to the far right. I put a 12" (pecan) smoking log over that burner directly on the grill. I cooked the chicken for a about a hour and half. Turned out great! Indirect heat completely avoids having to deal with flare ups. It also allows for long, slow cooking time so the meat has time to absorb the smoke.
