i was gonna get a home theater like this but i decided that i would spen my money on the important stuff, like machine guns and explosives for the zombie apocalypse

500 dollar projector is probably for your power points and not the BluRay movies. Screens cost a lot too depending on the size and if its fixed or not. And a comfortable theater seat that reclines would cost around 600 each, just multiple by how many you want.

im trying to turn my room into a gaming room im working for the projector i already have the xbox and surround sound just need that projector and im ready to go! =)

try epson 720phd. It works great for me and with games. no slow downs.
all your tv show are in 720p only blueray is 1080p but my blueray moives still look great . try epson 720 i love this projector.
