If you live in the UK and you're under 16 this is sometimes free- although you have to have a good reason behind it if you're anything over 12. I'm 15 and I'm mid-process now and I was VERY lucky to be given the opportunity to have this done. Also they're making cutbacks with this sort of procedure so if you're considering it go for it ASAP xx

To everyone asking about cost: I'm not sure how much this surgeon charges, but when I had my ears done it was supposed to be around $5,000. Though luckily it was covered by insurance. It doesn't hurt to get an insurance estimate. I was very surprised that the whole thing would be covered for me!

Thanks for making this video I'm 11 and im getting otoplasty in 5 days and I'm so scared all the comments on a lot of otoplasty videos are just stuff like 'omg it really hurts and it's soooooooo hard to sleep' thx cuz u sed nothing bad bout otoplasty and I just want to get it done

@bwenstar Good for you man........or girl. Where did u get yours done at? I`m 40 years old and finally I should be getting mine done in 4-6 months. I live in Chicago.
