    Ispantare ha due accezioni, una positiva ed una negativa: significa infattia sia spaventare che meravigliare... Quindi "ispantu" è sia lo spavento che la meraviglia. Da noi, in Logudoro, è rimasto prevalentemente il secondo significato...
