@ImWatchinTheTube The standard production models aren't ported. They have a "custom shop" which might port a bbl for you but that's a really expensive way to go about it. One might be better off buying a stock BFR and contracting out someone to port it for you. They don't really kick that hard IMHO and being single action, I think ported bbl is not necessary.

@saj12100 i think the newer 45-70 loads like the +P loads are probably more powerful than the 500 or equal to. Id have to look up the ballistics online tot ell you for sure but i bet the newer 45-70 loads are stouter and ballistically alot better than the 500
