Kay, so this may be a little off subject, but I grew up believing in the Darren Shan kind of vampire (hey, don't judge it by the movie, the book was awesome) It's better than Twilight in every way, but the only reason it's less famous? There's no sappy love story.

And Harry Potter immature? WTF?

And J.K.Rowling worked waaay harder on that plot. It didn't take a middle-aged womans wet dream to make up. It took a brain. Something you Twitards may not be familiar with.
