On paper, the P-40 was outclassed by many of the foes it faced. But in the hands of the pilots of the American Volunteer Group, the Warhawk was used to deadly effect against "superior" Zeros. Their exploits made the iconic shark-toothed grin of the "Flying Tigers" a symbol of victory for the Allies and cause for concern to any enemy pilot that encountered it.

E-flite has captured the spirit of the Flying Tigers in this fun-to-fly re-creation of the P-40 that goes together fast and is small enough to fly in the park. It comes out of the box loaded with scale details like an authentic Flying Tigers paint scheme and molded panel lines. It also comes equipped with a factory-installed 300 BL outrunner motor that will provide plenty of power for warbird aerobatics like loops, rolls and Immelmans. Its simple 3-channel control setup means you only need to buy two servos - one for aileron and one for elevator - making it even more affordable to get flying. When you're not flying, you can show off its scale looks with the included static display stand.

  • Hey about your problem with the speed controller, you actually have to program it. Not sure how to yet but i bet there are some videos available to you.

  • I have had this plane for a while but its never flown! i turn up the engine but it goes really slow then dies out immediately! I know its not the battery because ive tried two. Is it the brand new never used speed control that doesn't work? it is the eflite speed controller that was recommended for it. Is it the speed controller that is broken?

  • I just ordered mine today can't wait to fly it.it's so beautiful in flight.

  • What song is this?

  • One of my favorite birds. Like one of the other posters, I fly mine after work as a stress reliever. My wife just gave me another one for Christmas .. I kinda wrecked my last one ... OK, so I flew it straight into the ground. The fuse is CHEAP so I can take risks I wouldn't normally take with my bigger foamies or balsa birds. This is only my 2nd full plane, but I've also had about 3 additional airframes over the last year and a half. Flies in a very small space. Love it!

  • That is one of the best presentations that I have seen here on YouTube. Just the right flying and perfect music - Well done

  • LOVE my Warhawk! It's fun to fly in light wind. I've taken it out the last three days in a row. Had a lousy day at work today, but a nice flight with the Warkhawk relieved all the stress. FUN to fly!

  • DO WANT!

Better buy 5 the way E-Flite cancels stuff.
