Dr Susan Block is featured in an interview with Brian Rooney on ABC Nightline along with public access producers, Leslie Dutton, Zuma Dogg, and others. The news segment discusses freedom of speech, censorship, and "The Death of Public Access" in Los Angeles, California, and features a young Barack Obama getting his start in the public arena on Public Access TV.
Dr Suzy has been on the Public Acccess Channels throughout California for over a decade, and is actively addressing the Los Angeles City Council to keep budgets availble to continue producing public access programing.
I'm always interested in hearing what Dr Block has to say, she helps people to validate and accept themselves. Her voice on public access should not be silenced.

i think it's time to say goodbye to PA, we have the internet now which is a much better way to get the word out.
but if you want me to vote on it i'll vote to keep PA.

A well reasoned piece. Although he should have gotten on the bondage cross.

I am sorry to hear of the public access channels being mostly taken away, and hope something can be done about it.
Hopefully one of these days I will be have the schedule flexibility/availability to come by and be on your show again....
