[ Fast forward two weeks . . . ]

(Selena is still at home, she is pretty quiet and doesn't want to be around people yet. Nick hasn't changed at all. Miley still isn't use to the idea
of Joe and Demi being 'together' because she thinks Demi could do much better. But she doesn't show it as much as she'd like because she wants
Demi to be happy. Demi and Joe have grown very close, he even goes to the hospital with her everyday.)


Joe: Demi! *calls from the downstairs of Demi's house*
Demi: *walks downstairs* Hey, you. What's up?
Joe: C'mon. *grabs her hand and pulls her outside and to his car.*
Demi: No hello?
Joe: Hi. *buckles seat belt and leans over kissing Demi on the lips softly.*
Demi: Hi. Where are we going?
Joe: The beach. Drink this. *hands her a glass bottle of wine*
Demi: Joseph?!
Joe: Don't worry it's sparkling, I'm not giving my sick girlfriend alcohol.
Demi: *liking the sound of 'girlfriend* Smiles and *Takes a huge gulp of the sparkling juice.*
Joe: *takes the bottle as he pulls into the parking area of the beach*

They walk to a bench. Joe hands her a piece of paper and pen.

Demi: What's this?
Joe: What does it look like? Write. Write anything. Your feelings. Anything. Then we'll put it in the bottle and throw it into the ocean.
Demi: *smiles* Turn around.
*Joe turns around and Demi uses his back as a table to write on the paper.

(Five minutes later)

Demi: Finished.
Joe: Great, c'mon. *they hold hands and run to the beach.*
Demi: 1, 2...3! *She throws the bottle into the ocean.*
Joe: So what'd you write...?
Demi: That's for me to know and for you to find out if it ever washes up on shore. *winks at him and puts her hands at the bottom of her shirt, about to lift it over her head.*
Joe: Um, Demi? What are you doing?
Demi: Don't worry, Joseph, I'm wearing a bikini. You said we were going to the beach.
*She pulls her shirt off and slips out of her jean shorts, revealing a black bikini and diamond belly button ring, as she runs into the ocean*
Joe: *can't stop staring*

Demi: Well, are you coming in?
Joe: Su-Sure. *takes his shirt off and runs in, even though he's in jeans*

*He goes underwater and sneaks around her, pulling her under by the ankle.*

Demi: Ahh!
Joe: Hey.
*They are thigh deep, standings towards one another*
Demi: Meany.
*She leans in and kisses his ear, then jaw line, and hovers her lips over his as she puts her hands on his head like she is going to put her hands through his hair, but she pushes him under the water.*
Demi: Sucka!
Joe: You're such a tease, Demetria. *laughs*
