In this video we review the Wilson K Blade Tour tennis racket. This racket uses a technology that Wilson calls "Karophite Black." This material makes the racket very strong. As a result, the racket does not bend a lot when you make contact with the tennis ball, giving you good control.

Here are some specs:

Head size -- 93 square inches
Weight -- 11.4 ounces unstrung
String pattern -- 18 x 20
10 points head light

This racket is good for an advanced player to places a heavy emphasis on control. Because the racket is very head light, it's quite maneuverable -- it doesn't feel "heavy" to swing. Also, the Karophite Black technology and dense string pattern make the direction the ball bounces off the strings predictable.

  • Will why are you waiting the ball inside the court. Isn't this a mistake? Thx.

  • Why am I hitting inside out? Because of where the camera is positioned. Hitting inside out lets you see how the ball travels off my strings better because the ball doesn't cross in front of my body (which would block your view of the ball).

  • hahah matt xDD...Your so cool. Nobody would make a Smile behind his answer. You are Great ...WILL :D

  • Heh. I try..... =)

  • hey will, you guys should do tennis string reviews

  • You are mistaken, it is in fact the opposite. This is why you tend to string rackets on a higher tension when you want control, and lower tension when you want more power.Common enough mistake, i hope this will help you.

  • might be a bit old but i am a reasonable player i am coming 15 years old and a 7.2 lta rating i am a hard hitter what racket would you recommend

    thanks

  • i own this racket and it is great

  • This racket is great. I love it.

  • i play with this raquet but have demo and owned many raquets before it. I think this is the best frame wilson has produced and is definitly among the top 3 best (if you are good enough to use it). I've also tried the new blx blade, and it isn't much better, I would even say it's a little worse.

  • i love this raquet

  • this racket is the best but why is so different to the blx? is totally other thing

  • @shotyboy i hated the leather grip. it was hard and the racquet twisted in my hand. personal preference though.

  • HAHA He said "interested" the way i say "in-ter-REST-ed" , people make fun of me because i pronounce it out...

  • @FYB2007 hows the K Factor K Strike?

  • How is the Wilson K Factor K Strike?
