Heretic 1.3 Walkthrough - E3M1 - HiQuality

This is my walkthrough of the masterpiece Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders (1995 - Ravensoft).
It is NOT a time attack, nor a skill show-off. It's just me having some fun and solving all the levels with 100% monsters, items, secrets.

The game runs on ms-dos emulated by DosBox, which also made me capture the video. There are no graphics or music enhancements: this is a perfect replica of the original game how we used to play it on our good old pc's.

Episode 3, Map 1: The Storehouse
Hardest Difficulty.

Please note that in hardest difficulty there are a lots of items and powerups missing, to make game harder. So the walkthrough doesn't really show how to collect ALL items, but only those in hardest mode.

Awesome vid man, never played this but i did play alot of Hexen, how do you think it stacks up compared to it i have limited sace on this ancient thing so i was wondering if i should get it or not thanks

I think heretic has more action and hexen more exploration.

Dome of d'Sparil was a great episode. Those shining water pools and mosaic walls were cool.

Bit of sad trivia this: the Ophidians are the only monsters (aside from D'sparil and his Chaos Serpent) to not appear in any levels with the red skyline backdrop (Hell's Maw).
