This video show the air being ionized, I think the B-2 is using magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). And with engines on its upper surface, it should become detectable by satellites.

I would like to know more? 0.o I've been to EAFB a few times myself (civilian) and got to stand pretty close to one of these things before (armed guard said if I took another step further he would have to shoot me though 0.o) are even the landings of these things classified cause of some of the things they can do or what? why would you guys have to leave the tower? and if it came by at a low speed with little sound I still dont understand...fascinating none the less...

If you look at the fundamental cycle you will discover the thermal shielding upstream causes the combustor to grow significantly. The combustor has to grow so more heat can be added without thermally choking the flow. See AIAA 2001-3748. The combustor is too big for the inlet in the AJAX cycle.
