I have to ask, are you using nylon strings in this video? I love nylon on banjos.

@bagpipeplayer Yes. These are Aquila Nylgut Classical Banjo Strings, made of a synthetic that has characteristics more like gut than nylon. I always keep Nylguts on one of my banjos.

@banjukebox If I had the hands for it, I'd love to learn how to play Scots/Irish music on clawhammer, and I'd keep nylon on all my banjos (that I don't have).

I just have to stick with bagpipes for now, but they can go remarkably well with a banjo.
