I remember coming home from school finding my uncle watching CNN and anxiously waiting for Jim Clancy to finish so that I could listen to this lovely African woman do the weather. My uncle was a journalist, so he watched CNN everyday. I didn't know she worked for another station before that.

Indeed, we went down to London in the mid-1990's and I'm sure Carlton used the same sponsorships aswell.

Never thought we'd see a forecast shorter than both sponsor stings put together! (Almost a case of why bother, really).
Nonetheless, I remember those stings being used in Granadaland as well.
