@TheErrantWilder-I said to my cousin how can you stand that and he said what? as if he didnt see the guy my cousin said oh man that? its nothing to me and it dawned on me that I was on the outside looking in and that perception is reality. @TheErrantWilder comment all you like I enjoy and respect your intellect!!! I was in Mississippi visiting relatives and being from Cali I was not mentally prepared for the racial climate of Nachez! Anyway I got picked up from the airport and while driving to my folks place an old chevy truck pulled from behind us and sped by to get in front of us. No problem. But the truck 2 confederate flags on the both antennas and shotgun on a rack in the back window. Heres my point-I was furious!!!

@bigsexyblondiedreads .... It must not be seen at this way because it is a complete misconception. It is a non sexual dance for families in times of happiness and joy. Just like morris dance or ballroom dances. Saying it is erotic is saying it is sexual. WHich goes against what belly dance is. It can be made into a sexual dance but it is generally seen as very very bad if this is done. I am sorry I had to use two comments.

@bigsexyblondiedreads I get what your saying and I agree. It is a matter of perspective. Bare legs and high heels don't discuts me. I don't wear them because its a) too cold at the moment for bare legs and b) high heels hurt my feet and I prefer going bare feet anyway when I can. I hate any two wheel cars full stop. I much prefer a Nativa or Land Rover. As for belly dance some would say belly dance was "hot and sexy" which is completely wrong. This stems from how it was viewed in the past....

@TheErrantWilder eroticism.......Hmm-its kinda like one mans floor is another mans ceiling, ones trash is another mans treasure Im sure you get what Im saying. Sensuality is a matter of perspective I love the hell outta bare legs and high heels that may disgust you but that does it for me and thats what makes opinions valid on an individual basis-its mine! its a matter of preference, you probably love BMW's and Mercedes I dont like either but I will drive the wheels off a '95 Chevy Supersport!
