i knew this kid who was a freshmen with me 3 years ago and he toped out at 92
his arm is totally blown out now and hes lucky if he hits 89 but still it just goes to show that theres tons of kids who throw 90 now, im a senior and i cant get past 87.

@TaylorSwiftIinsider as others have said, the averages you are coming up with are a joke. A high school player that throws upper 90's???? are you kidding??? There are only a small hand full in the United States. The fastest high school pitcher i personally know is Lucas Giolito (la times) and he is a junior and tops out at 95, very rare out of a junior. I am a sophmore and i top out at 82, i have a strong arm, and have not filled out completely (6 0', 159), but i doubt i will throw mid 90's
