The Roadster is being manufactured by Lotus in England. Tesla is also planning on building an electric sedan at a plant in New Mexico.

Only the body and chassis are manufactured by Lotus. Everything else is made in California!

@NewToTheLyte I'm sure that Nikola Tesla had a car that ran on electricity, could go over 100 miles without being recharged, had top speed of aprox. 70 mph and a black box which was the engine for it and was no bigger than your or mine PC....And all of that in the early beginning of 20th century...so my guess is that he would actually be kinda disappointed?
