Bethlehem is the only Palestinian city the Pope will visit on his trip to the Holy Land. He was greeted by Mahmoud Abbas, who spoke out against the wall dividing Palestinians and Israelis and the difficulties faced by Palestinians in Jerusalem.
Mahmoud Abbas
President of the Palestinian National Authority
Here in the Holy Land, there are people that continue to build walls instead of building bridges. Its time for the suffering to stop. Its time for love and peace to prevail.
The Pope said the Holy See supports the right of the Palestinian people to have their own state, but he acknowledged a solution would not come easy if there is no cooperation with Israel.
Benedict XVI
Mr President, the Holy See supports the right of your people to a sovereign Palestinian homeland in the land of your forefathers, secure and at peace with its neighbors, within internationally recognized borders.
Benedict said he hoped both Palestine and Israel would become more secure places so that Palestinians can have more freedom in moving around the region. While he acknowledged the suffering of the Palestinian people, he called on them not to resort to violence.
Benedict XVI
I make this appeal to the many young people throughout the Palestinian Territories today: do not allow the loss of life and the destruction that you have witnessed to arouse bitterness or resentment in your hearts. Have the courage to resist any temptation you may feel to resort to acts of violence or terrorism.
This afternoon, the Pope will visit a refugee camp built next to the wall that separates Israel from areas controlled by the Palestinian authority.

I say the only real way to solve this problem is to split the two sides and give them each their own fair/equal share of the land. (Just like you would break a cookie in half, to give to two children.) That way, everyone should be happy - & nobody can say that someone else got more land &/or rights than the next person!
Honestly though? It would be incredible to see *both* sides come together, make peace with whatever issues they had in the past, & move on together - as one country, one people.

Analyze the context, cut the prejudice and bad interpretational phenomenon. Hehe.

"Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act... And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things." H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons. Nov. 11, 1895
"Sunday is our MARK or authority. . .the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact" Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1,1923.

One state certainly is the only solution and the time has come for for the invaders to return to the Arabian peninsula from whence they came.

One state is the only real solution which join current Israel and Palestine. Otherwise, every major leadership change in the future will cost mass civilian lives. Palestinian should have all their stolen homelands back and elect their local representatives for the entire region. UN must recognize the entire region as Palestine, no such place as Israel unless Palestinians allow.

Zionism is a sickness worst than Nazism. Both Nazis and Zionist believe that they are the supreme race. Both are responsible for the holocaust. However, Zionist use massive destructive weapons and the love killing babies.
