Republicans and those who lean Republican are currently most likely to name Mitt Romney (26%) as the person they would be most likely to support for president in 2012, with Sarah Palin following closely behind at 21%.

  • First thing RP would do is knock out gov. corruption... therefore, why would he even be considered? It would be like cutting their own throats for the american people.

  • 2012 is way to far off politically speaking. There's plenty of bribe taking, adulterous affairs, and drunken driving accidents yet to be revealed before a final candidate can be decided on. lol No doubt if any party wants to win this next election they'll have to also win in 2010. that said so far the trend is conservative unknowns are way ahead in numbers so far.

  • This is how the news media makes politics so boring. Shut up about 2012 you life-less losers. The presidential election season is too long as it is.

  • ALL polls for the past 8 months show GOVERNOR HUCKABEE as the frontrunner. Huckabee 2012!!!!

  • No I don't fear Ron Paul he is 157 years old...I have been a cop for 8 years...2 years as Police Chief and 2004 Police Officer of the Year...I'm an EMT, MA and a Cert. Fitness Trainer....I have kicked tons of ass, taken countless bad guys to jail and saved hundreds of lives...people have placed babies that were not breathing in my arms and said save my child.............NO............ I don't fear much

  • I actually think 2012 will FAVOR the GOP presidential candidate, IF the GOP does not take back the House and Senate in 2010, because it is undesirable to have the Dems control both Congress and the White House, as it enables the "Democrats" to force down the throat of Americans a liberal social agenda, like banning free speech, banning guns, banning Christianity.

  • You are just saying that because YOU fear him !

  • Nothing is guaranteed or in the bag as you say. Not by a long shot. Time will tell if President Obama is worthy of a second term as president. If he is then the people will vote him in. I'm sure President Bush (senior) and his loyal Repubs thought he was going to get a second term also. He was proved wrong. President Obama may be also.

PS: If you believe in him so much show a little respect by taking the time to type his title in front of his name.

  • I understand that Republicans are desperate ...but you have to get off of Ron Paul.....he will be 157 years old in 2012....that's just to old to be President ....sorry

  • lol...Ron Paul will be 157 years old in 2012....Obama has 2012 in the bag..... Ron Paul that lil old man with the squeakily voice cracks me up
