OK, they're not real nuns, and it's St Peter's Square in Manchester, not Rome! This is an excerpt from my 1974 film extravaganza "The Song of Salford", a very loose remake of "The Sound of Music", in which an evil Nazi dictator tries to take over the fair city of Salford. In this scene, Manchester Town Hall extension was used for the exterior of the Abbey. (All parts played by Post Office Telegraphs staff!)
