    Trinidad (pos) is wealthier because of oil (lots of tall buildings), but Jamaica (kingston) is the cultural, entertainment capital and the heart beat of the caribbean.

    Port of Spain Trinidad looks great reminds me of Manhattan and Portland, Oregon, In the United States, gotta give it to you this is the second richest country in the Caribbean, ten time more industrial than any other Caribbean country, im not from Trinidad nor have i ever been there, but the looks caught my eyes, beautiful, im From the United States, but have ties in Jamaica, Trinidad beats Jamaica by far in terms of economic achievements and a well advance high tech- Infrastructure.     I've been to Port of Spain and it is a crime-ridden hell hole with a murder rate per capita higher than Jo'burg. Go there at your own risk.

    Actually Barbados has already reached 1st world 'developed status' according to the World Bank and U.N. Try Googling "Barbados developed country". Barbados is now the smallest 'developed country' in the world.
