I have seen that exact snow shed on America By Rail, The Heartland. It was just coming somewhat close to the end of the movie.

WOW!! you were in the SAME area that would experience the MAJOR landslide at Frazier siding on January 19, 2008. Amtrak just restored Coast Starlight service on this line yesterday May 6, 2008. I am very happy you recorded this video in 1994 during the SP days.
According to my timetable you were only about 4 miles away from the infamous Frazier siding.
