This video demonstrates "STARS - a ubiquitous computing platform for computer augmented tabletop games" which has been developed by the Fraunhofer Institute.

  • I'm not sure about the operating system. Unfortunately this was created after I left the Institute. :-(

  • Interesting !!! The Pocket PC's that they are using have Windows Mobile as the Operating System ... The table ... Not sure .

  • I've seen simlilar things before, like microsoftsurface or Philips Entertaible.

    But the Yvio system is the onlyone that's really affordable and on the market. Still the Video is very interesting.

  • could be used in dnd, exept for the camera above table and the 3 screens on wall is sorta useless
