On Contraire, I absolutely hated ED on Scrubs. He acted like a freakin lunatic, and not the good kind!

I actually used to think she was kinda hot in ED. But now I can't see her any other way as the over the hill Modern Family housewife :)
I recognized her in Modern Family, though I wasn't a big fan of ED. I hated her for this part initially because she isn't intrinsically funny. But after watching MFamily's third season and her emmy wins, I see she brings something special to the table with her dry unique Deadpan delivery.
Now I honestly can't see anyone else take on the role of Claire Dunphy!

@crazygurl1211. I would agree except that "The Proposal" and "Happily Ever After" redeemed season 4.

This should have been the final episode. It was so perfectly written, especially the ending. They kind of cheapened it by adding another season.
