Devon's P.O.V.
I hung up the phone after finalizing my plans and continued to look out the window. Its the only place I get good service in my room. I didnt know if Sam and Sara knew yet, but they would soon enough. The next morning I finished packing all my stuff and headed to the airport. My first year at college was over. I boarded the plane and before I knew it I had arrived. I got a cab to the hotel, checked in, literally dumped all my suitcases in my room and headed out. I got another cab to the studio and went in careful to avoid being seen by Joe, Nick, and Kevin, this was supposed to be a surprise. With one close call I made it to the room where I was supposed to be and saw that Sam and Sara were already there. We had a little reunion and waited in hiding. Soon we were told that the boys had gone onstage so we could go and watch. We stood backstage watching the boys being interviewed.
"So tell us about Sam, Sara, and Devon," Ellen said after some other questions.
"They're like our best friends, they're awesome," Kevin said.
"And Joe, all the news about you and Devon, those are just rumors or are you going out with her?" Ellen asked.
"Yeah, they're just rumors. We're just really good friends," Joe replied.
"So, when was the last time you saw them?" Ellen questioned.
"Um, March I think, so that would be about a month and a half ago," Nick answered doing the math in his head.
"Well, we have a surprise for you," Ellen said looking at us.
We came out and all three of them were totally surprised, they had no idea we were going to be there. We all gave them hugs and Joe looked like he was about to give me a kiss, but then remembered where we were and refrained. Sam, Sara, and I sat down next to the boys.
"So let's get down to business," Ellen said. "Any embarrassing stories you can tell us about the Jonas Brothers? We want all the dirt," Ellen laughed.
"Well, there was this one time," I started. "We decided to play a prank on them so we called them outside and we were armed with water balloons, they weren't too happy about that. They chased us for a while and tried to get us back, but they couldn't" I laughed.
"It was pretty funny," Sam and Sara said.
"Was not! It was cold out!" Kevin, Joe, and Nick responded and everyone in the audience started laughing. In a few minutes the interview ended and we all went back stage. We had another reunion, with hugs and everything, and this time Joe was able to give me a kiss, and like always I couldn't help but smile.
We left the studio and went to the car to go back to the hotel. Not to our surprise there were hundreds of screaming girls waiting for us outside as we walked to the car. I saw Nick looking at one girl in the front and when we got to the car after much struggle I looked at Nick as he turned around and waved to the girl he was looking at before. She smiled back at him and then fainted. I couldn't help but laugh a little.
Nick went to go see if she was ok, to which we all protested saying it was too dangerous to go back into the mob of screaming girls, but did he listen? Of course not. I watched as Nick safely reached where the girl had fainted and another girl, who I'm assuming was her friend helped Nick bring her back to the car. The girl was out cold. We had an interesting ride to the hotel we finally got there and got the girl who had fainted up to the room. We all had our own room and we had three rooms on each side of the hall. We went into my room since it was the closest and I had my key out the fastest since Nick was getting tired of supporting the girl.
"Man Devon. Did you bring enough suitcases?" Joe asked in surprise at my probably 5 large suitcases that were spread out over the room.
"Sorry, I came straight from Boston, so this is everything that was in my dorm," I laughed.
Nick sat down on the bed and laid the girl down on the bed. And after a few minutes she finally began to wake up.
