This video lesson will teach you 3 different piano accompaniment patterns. You will learn about color chords such as slash chords, and 2nd chords which are very similar to 9h chords. You will understand the importance of learning how to play in key signatures that have flats such as the key of Eb, Bb, and Ab.

  • i have a question...in jazz how does a person know what chord to go to..... I've been to school and asked a teacher that same question and they said " you can do whatever you want." and i said to my self thus not possible b/c if that was true then why does it sound bad when a person is playing in "c" it sounds bad to go to F#..... well in jazz how do i know what diminish i can go to and what chords in general....?
