I think this is the first time I've played this live. Thanks for having a listen. All three of us were fighting the cold and flu that night. A great big thanks for all those who came out to see us at the Beach Folk Concert. The personable flamboyant flat picker Paul Johnston to my right and the Red Shea trained Paul Bartlett on my left. If I ever get a bass player who knows and likes Lightfoot music I'll be in band heaven.

  • Way to nail it, guys!

  • @StumptownBoy Thanks! we haven't uploaded a vid in a while...its nice to know someone still listening to these ones. ..john

  • Sounds great John! This is one of my favorite Lightfoot tunes. Although there are many favs of mine, this one touches me like no other. Great jobs to all on the recording. Merry Christmas to you!

    ~George~

  • @pickerman4 Thanks George. I remember one club owner back in '96. We played there every sat night for a year. He was a big Lightfoot lover. At the time I only played If you Could Read My Mind. He begged me to try I'm Not SUpporsed To Care. He was a huge Lightoot fan. I tried and tried but the guitar was to much like exercise for me that I never got it off the ground. Recently, I've bee persuaded but that fella you see playing with me, Paul Bartlett to give it a try. It still hurts.

  • Beautifully done John. You guys sound fantastic.

  • @7761864 thanks . love your new If You Could Read My Mind. Nice. Its Dec and we're now freezing up here in the northland. I envy those, like you, who live in the right weather...... bye for now...keep well.....john
