@NickGoldston I have it too and mine doesn't sound either like this, for me I can compare it with a computer that is running .. You know? Like a zooming sound. For now its still ok because I only hear it when people are whispering or completely silent but its super annoying. Especially when you lay at night in your bed ..

For all you trolls and idiots out there.. Tinnitus has no spesific sound. It varies from person to person and has different levels. As for me, I have the typical Mosquito Sound which is basically a sound at 16kHz frequency. It is normally a very silent sound, but sometimes when I'm stressed or trying to focus on certain things like reading, doing paper work or something that requires increased concentration, it gets louder and masks over any other exterior sound.

Please let this educate you...
