all a tundra needs to beat the tbss is the TRD supercharger. Again remember the Tundra has better gearing. Also tbss wouldn't be so bad if their transmissions weren't crap.  Yes I used to own a TB and now I own a Tundra. S/C tundra times are a little faster than stock tbss

Tundra would need considerable amount of mods to beat a tbss....but props to the tundra non the less....its hard to make something fo fast that isn't meant to

@lordironrat The TBSS in stock form is mid 13's to low 14's in 1/4, some better some worse. It's not the fastest thing out there but it will beat the average fox body 5.0 and newer 4.6 mustangs, and LT1 camaros and LT1 Corvettes and G35, G37 350Z and 370Z...so you can't really say a TBSS is slow by that comparison.

I can say 100% the Tundra that beat a TBSS has a lot of mods. I have yet to see a Tundra that will stay anywhere near my stock TBSS

Funny how everyone argues about horsepower and how shitty the truck is but they seem to forget the a 5.7 tundra with a TRD SC (which basically means its still under warranty so its a dealer addon hence sport tuned kind of like the SS) has a 4.30 Gear ratio and a 6 speed auto. HP equal in other vehicles would still get smoked all day just because of the gearing.
