European Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus) baby

Our baby roe deer called Bambi. She was found by members of the public at two days old when she decided to go for a walk on the streets in the middle of the day. Her mother was nowhere to be found and with cars rushing by, she found her way to us via a the animal ambulance. here she is almost three weeks old and doing very well. She gets goatsmilk wich resembles her mothers milk the best. She is also provided with branches of various trees so she can nibble on the leaves. When she is old enough and weaned off the bottle we will gradually take a step back into having contact with her so she will get her wild instincts back. in the end she will live out her life in the wild where she belongs

@erica7058 Haha, well... enjoying is the wrong word :P They regularly pee all over your hands. The endresult, the release, THAT is what i enjoy ;)

haha its not the most appealing sound I have to agree. they are baby great tits and make a LOT of noise. They are in a bigger cage now awaiting release.
