Plantronics .Audio 655 Headset Review

This is a GREAT headset for the price. I HIGHLY recommended this headset to those wanting a cheap, high quality headset for gaming, skyping, listening to music, or anything you may need a headset for. The sound quality is terrific and the headset is lightweight and portable. The microphone produces very crisp audio, as you can hear in the video, and it has a convenient quick mute feature. The audio from the speakers seems as though it is coming from the room you are in, and it has nice soft padding for your ears and head. This headset is also USB, which allows for higher quality sound. This lightweight plug-in-play headset is a highly recommended $30 headset for the average Joe. 5/5 stars from me!

@thegraffitimonkey 1) no, becuase the headset is USB. there might be some USB to 3.5mm converters, but i haven't looked for them so im not sure. 2) no, but it can be pushed up, which mutes it and keeps it out of the way. :)

hey whats up, just curious if you still like this headset, less then a year later, is it still holding up? ill be playing world of warcraft about 20 hrs per day, does it hurt the ears? im in need of a headset, thnx

@BenbanksTV Yeah i still love it! now, though, after having a set of earbuds meant for music, i now see that these headphones are not the best quality for music. the bass is strong, but not quite as good as the JVC Marshmallows (which BTW are the BEST budget earbuds out there. 20 bucks and the widest range of any earbuds under 100 dollars.) but for voice this headset is superb. i recommend it for gaming. its feels like surround sound. so yes i still LOVE them. thanks for watching!

@LastSoldier115 Oh well i dont use my ps3, and i wouldn't like that cuz i would need a 20 foot cable cuz my ps3 is far away from the couch lol. but if they work then definatly it would be great for that. if you end up getting one lemmy know how you like it!

@taterman72 Oh and also by gaming I was talking about things like WOW or other PC games. Because of the fact that this headset is USB, I don't know if it would work on PS3. You could look that up or try it though.
