Waterford Pond Bridges Project (Waterford, Ontario)

Part of a much larger project to revitalize our waterfront, we are seeking funding for the building of these bridges.
We are a subcommittee of the Waterford Heritage Trail, and our project has the support of the Waterford Lion and Lioness Club, the Waterford Legion (Branch 123), the Waterford Horticultural Society, the Waterford Heritage and Agricultural Museum, the Waterford & Townsend Historical Society and countless citizens, cyclists, anglers, dog-walkers, hikers ... you name it!

@530Bull I use the trials for snowmobiling and leasure trail riding on my dirtbike, the past couple years people have been riding less and less on them and they are becoming overgrown, building these bridges it so great, we get to improve our community and it makes me feel great knowing that other people care about the trails, Dirtbikers have no problem with people walking and ive never seen a hiker care about riders we all repect eachother and are enjoying the trails in different ways!

@530Bull How is this a bad idea exactly, because you personally want a trail for your motorcycle, quad or snowmobile? Talk about selfish! It isn't even public or government money, it WAS free money to do this in The Aviva Community Fund contest which YOU obviously didn't take two seconds a day to vote for, or even read about, so thanks a LOT! "Spend are money on something else" you say haha! It wasn't even OUR money to begin with, but thanks SO much for your non-contribution.

This community is special to the hearts of many who remember growing up in this great village among whom are numbered politicians, writers, entrepreneurs and many professionals. It was and is a wonderful community for growing children and spending one's last years. Be like a good bra and support this wonderful initiative.
