1948 Ferguson TEA 20. I have know the tractor since i was about 8 months old and very very kindly given ownership of her in July 2005. The governor had been stuck wide open so with some help from a few 3rd years at college Lackham (wiltshire). we were able to get her running and this was not only the first time it had been driven out of the shed since it went in, but was also the first time i had ever driven her!!
(3rd years were Tom Bryne, Matt Temple-Fry, Matt Cheeseman & Lawrance Aldridge (& of course Rachel Wilmore).

  • Very sweet. Got a friends 1946 running after sitting for decades in a hedge. It had a downdraught exhaust so no rain got in. The engine wasn't even stuck. Changed the oil, cleaned the points and replaced the ht leads. Carb had been drained so no crud to clean out. rigged a temporary fuel line and put 12volts on the starter. A couple of turns and away she went.

  • Cheers. Well she would have down swept exhaust but we left it original as i got her. Don't think she had ever had an oil change!! Was like grease with lumps wen we tryed to drain her out!!
