i hate everyone equally - would make a much better radio host. special rights = no equal rights. as an ultra-conservative republican gay/str8 whatever is not part of gov't. to say the majority of us step on gay rights is simply incorrect. with issues facing this nation after 8yrs of a dictatorship, why is this (of all things) an issue? rebuild the GOP to what it once was: fiscal responsibility, hands-off private lives and stay out of other nations. stop whining about self-serving issues.

this is stupid... I am a Republican and I do not view homosexuals as 'garbage' as well as many others I associate with. Though the parties philosophy is to conserve America's original qualities I think voting for the party that has a more efficient economic idealogy (in your opinion) rather than social is better...

I may understand that gays can have different ideas on the fiscal policy, however, given that you support the very people that would very much like to discriminate against gays and relegate them to 2nd class citizens proves that you don't care much about the civil rights of others. GAy Republicans care more about money that civil rights, it's like the blacks who helped the segregationists deny other blacks rights, remember, they hate every other gay person as well. This may be true, but the shakers and movers in the Rupublican party, those who grab the soundbites and whip up the base, do hate gays, and are using the oppression of LGBT Americans as a way to whip up fear, and thus whip up votes. It's really despicable, and people like you and those you associate with need to stand up and tell your leaders, "No!"
