erhmm... people does`nt seem to get it, do they? lol.. Faith is important in life, along with positive thinking, but you have to be realistic about it, I think this was funny, and a good vid! :)

No--this means that people shouldn't be so naive about what faith really is.
At least that was the point of the sermon.
Thanaks for everyone's comments. By the way--my collar bone was injured for a good 3 months after that last throw.

That sounds like a load of crap. What point was that? "If I invoke my faith and then jump out of this plane with no chute..." That's basically what you did here.
Where is the lesson learned in that?

You are right that was the point. Instead of preaching how people see faith the wrong way, as you expressed, I decided to get beat up, make people laugh, and then ask what was wrong with that scenario. That seems to work better with this generation. People got the point and I got the pain, but it got them talking and thinking. Of course we talked about how faith involves work, preparation, devotion, and intellect.
I like the idea of the plane without a chute. Maybe I should do that next time!
