Great Roger Cook song. Great cover, however I prefer the Dusty Springfield version. It has a bit more bite! Also the country version by Saundra Steele is a good contender?

This is a lot better than Dustys version..Marcia was and still is sweet.

@riteasrain This is the New Romantic look.Everyone was wearing parachute pants & headbands back then.Google pics of Duran Duran,Dionne Warwick,Olivia Newton-John & they're similarly bedecked.I'm ashamed to say I was 14 in 1981 & can remember wearing similar outfits.LOL! We thought we looked awesome. It was like dress-ups,really.

@beadsstitcher Yes, Marcia's a great singer....even though she was born in America.

great sound

Interesting that the backing track is actually taken straight from Miss Springfield's version. Miss Hines does a great job, but I prefer Miss Springfield's.

This could be the best song ever by anyone ever in the world, I love Marcia Hines and her voice is in the same league as Whitney Houston and Precious Wilson.
