I haven't seen this "Friday Night Lights" movie that you people are speaking of,
But if it's a movie...a football movie, and it used THIS song, I may just have to see it.

Friday Night Lights was first a book that was made into a movie. Then they made a show with completely different characters and the only thing similar is the name lol. But yea the movie and show use Explosions in the Sky songs.
