I do this a little differently. I push after they mand for it by sign or expressive speech and then I run around and jump just as I get to the swing. Then I stop the swing by catching their feet so they have to mand again.
Mind you I also work on getting them to sign for me to run or jump too. Often I say I'm about to catch their feet so they can show whether they want that or not.
