for the new year I have decided to make 2 videos on the same day by just driving courses in my favorite diving game AND mario kart game. This is the original Super Mario Kart for the SNES released on September 1, 1992 in America was the funnest game I played as a kid. At the time Mario kart 64 was out but I didnt have one so this game was passed down from my sister to me and my brother. This game is slightly diffrent than other mario karts for the driving is more slippery than others but is still controllable easily. My advice, on turns let go of the gas to make better turns but if you think you may still hit the walls then press the brake. I really only use the drift to jump over water and jumps.

  • Is this on the jap/ero cart of the usa cart? Just asking as if the record is or was 1 minute and a bit, then I know at least 5 people who can beat that, just in my circle of friends. (USA and JAP run at different speeds) I even have a lap using koopa just under 0.59. on VHS some where. (not by me but a friend)

  • @wolfenstien9000 I was not trying to show off or anything. I just remember one night probably about 14 years ago we was all at my mates house just doing GV1 time trial, There was about 10 of us trying to get under the 1 and then it was my turn and hit under 1 while my cousin was recording it on an old vhs camcorder, I never really thought that this was much of an achievement until i Youtube searched "GV1 world records" by accident, I was looking for GT 1 world records.

  • I remember playing this game as a kid in the 1990s. GREAT CHILDHOOD MEMORIES!
