@ozvannews You know, patkoelling was saying that the *vans* without ESP were very dangerous, not the systems themselves. And it's true, isn't it?
-
@ozvannews i have known 2 ppl killed in sprinter vans
-
@Sitikkamies yes that was a Ford Transit
-
2:02 Vehiche without ESP. Hmm, it's so pixeled I can't say what's that van... Ford Transit! xD
-
@patkoelling I drive one of the old Sprinters myself. They have ESP and ASR (disengageable). I don't know about the other security features. In germany those sprinters where in the media, because of the danger when driving at high speed.

Yes you will find that all Australian State and Territory Ambulances Services have Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as their front line response vehicle.

i was hoped to see a comparison of a sprinter with esp and one without esp. that would be interesting

Adaptive ESP is standard on Sprinter with along ABS, ASR (acceleration skid control) and BAS (brake assist).

Yes, but the older sprinter didnt have ESP including all the other systems. I've heard that these are very dangerous.

Not sure where you would have heard that statement from? Keep doing your research and you will find that these systems are in fact life saving and will over time become standard on all vehicles.
