  • I grew up in a culture that eats green leaves from just about any plant one can think of. Pumpkin leaves, sweet potato leaves, black eye pea leaves...... and a host of many others that I see around growing wild but whose names (in English) I have no clue. For me trying "strange" weeds poses no problems. All I have to remind myself is how nutricious they're, and down they go!! The other day I enjoyed an egg sandwhitch with wild dandelions straight from the wild! Thanx so much for this info.

  • @Phikay1 great to hear . glad you enjoyed the sandwich. eric.

  • would it be safe to pick one out of the ground and eat it? do does it have to be cleaned? obviously I'm only talking about the part of it that wasn't in the ground.

  • @Blondyy122 yes, you can eat the whole leaf, enjoy. eric.

  • I tried to eat them. I picked very small young greens from my yard. Steamed them a bit and added butter and salt. They were horribly bitter! Yuck!

  • bummer. sorry about that. not sure why that happened. eric.

  • Cool Colour Changing Lab!! was it an Expensive Dog? Black outside and white when hes inside !! lol

  • This is bs. Dandelions taste disgusting. I was hoping for someone who could explain how to make them good to eat by doing something to them. don''t try lying that you think they taste good cuz they don';t it's a fact.

  • lol @1:34-1:42 great vid by the way

  • @erochow I heard that the more sunlight they get, the more bitter they are. So it's better to eat the one's that grow in the shade.

  • Thank you so much for making such a great video. Straight and to the point. All the other vids I've seen like this take forever. The people move way too slow!

  • Very nice, thank you. When I take my dog to the river, I see lots of things on the ground that look like dandelion but I am not sure if they really are. Is there anyway to distinguish?
