Jay came by Wednesday the 5th and wanted to go fishing back at Moss Landing again. Still pumped up from his 27lb King just over a week earlier. I said let go to Wallowa and jig up some fat Kokes, while I sent Cory a text to see if he was going to get his boat on the water that weekend to fish. Got a quick reply "why can you make out to fish?" Next thing you know I'm loading the rover for Friday departure. To stop in Vegas or not to Stop was the next question. Knowing I would have to trick Jay by telling him we were going to the next casino just to get on the freeway and start flying so he wouldn't jump. He likes those slots! Fishing was still a little slow with a 47 degree water temp that was warmer than it was most of the time we were there. In fact we got out just before most of the passes closed from heavy snow again. Just an hour after leaving Jared's house I got a text from home that it was snowing on my boat at Bass Lake again. The Rover performed great just got a little sand blasted south of Vegas with 90mph headwinds cruising at ?0. for a total of 2010 miles round trip when I put her back in the garage. CABO or BC Next?
