Daliah Lavi singing the popular poetic hebrew love song "Erev Shel Shoshanim" (Evening of roses). This song has been recorded in the year 1974 and was distributed worldwide on her album "I'm Israeli, I'm a sabra".

In October 2008 Daliah Lavi announced, that she decided to terminate her singing and acting carreer. In spring 2009 she returned on stage for the last time on her successful farewell tour throughout Germany.
Here on youtube you can also watch some live clips that I shot in March 2009 during her concerts in Berlin, Leipzig and Hamburg.

English Translation:

It is an evening of roses
Let us go out to the garden
Myrrh, Spices, and Frankincense
Are as a carpet under your feet

REPEAT X 2
Night falls slowly
And a wind of roses blows
I'll whisper a ballad song for you
A song of love

Dawn and the dove coos
Your hair is full of dewdrops
Your lips are as roses unto the morning
I will pick them for myself

REPEAT X 2
Night falls slowly
And a wind of roses blows
I'll whisper a soft song for you
A song of pure love
