I was hunting in a 66 feet deep wreck off Miami, when some jacks appears.

I use flashers to attract the fish and to avoid they could run inside the wreck when I shoot my speargun. Holding my breath, it will be hard to take them out.

When you shoot a jack, the others from the pack trends to stay close, so you could chase them too. That's the reason why in this video I didn't ventilate in a proper way... big mistake: I went down to take another fish but I had a close black out experience...

  • hi am about to buy a speargun soon and was wondering, wat gun is better a.b biller 48 special or and beuchat 1000

  • @bryanriv

sorry, I didn't check my account for a while. I will choose always an european gun: there are lighter and way easier to maneuver.

JBL, AB Biller and Hornett guns are made for scuba divers and they look for me too bulky and heavy.

On a medium size gun (48" or 1000mm) some good options are the Mundial or the newer Marlin from Beuchat, Cressi Comanche, Omer Cayman and the Xfire from Seatec (much cheaper). I won't pay for a carbon fiber gun on that size. My guns are italian C4
