This blimp was made in Wroclaw University of Technology Poland. Lenght 4,5m radius 2,2m range 1500m capacity 10m3 of helium. 2 engines speed 400 witch transmition 3,3:1 and 8'' propeller and one speed 280 on rudder. This blimp have also camera 500lines which is full maneuvering. For control i'm using Multiplex 7 chanel controler. We are using 5,8 GHz system to send the video from blimp to control station. All was made by students. I was main coordinator of this project.

  • You mean helium? This gas is developed to my university from some company in Wrocław, Poland. It cost about 50PLN/18$ per qubic meter.

  • o man wow!!! that is super super cheap the price here is around 234$ a cubic meter!!!! I am so fucking angry and mad, you need to be a trilionar to have a helium ballon and you have very cheap price there.. how ??

  • I'm doing a project extremely similar to this for my Extended Project Qualification.

    Can you tell me what material you guys used for the envelope (gas bag) and where you got it from? And also what type and where you got the motors from? Any help would be greatly appreciated :D thanks
