This was at my recital and my voice teacher is the soprano singing O Mio...her name is Rebecca Purdue. This is a continuous video of my recital and the second song is me singing the aria, Ombra Mai Fu, from Handel's Xerses (it is a countertenor aria), then the last song is a duet with both of us singing The Evening Prayer from the Opera, Hansel and Gretel. Please comment and let me know what you think...I sing both tenor and countertenor so feel free to look up some other videos of me. Thanks!

I'm going to school this fall as a Voice Performance major...what do you think?

  • It is so nice that you and your coach can do songs together. You both blended nicely. You too have a nice ping in your upper notes! I am definitely going to subscribe to keep up with you. Nice job!

  • Yes it is, thank you for your comment and your subscription! I no longer study from her due to the fact that I moved away to college but she and I still talk on a regular basis. Thanks! :)

  • Excellent Counter Voice... My gosh. The color of your voice is extremely marvelous

  • Thanks :)

  • Wow your countertenor voice is quite cool, you remind me of jeffry gall ! I think your voice sounds very mature, maybe once you start training further you can concentrate on your lower range. But kudos anyway because tenor and countertenor are so antagonist it's great you can do both that well.

  • Well thank you very much. I have so more videos on here of my lower register, but it's not really anything classical. I watched your video and was very impressed, especially with you soprano range. If you can, help spread the word about my vids, they don't get as many views as I would like :) Thanks again for your comment!
