Bill O'Reilly uses his "talking points memo" to attack Time magazine columnist Joe Klein for writing that "Fox News peddles a fair amount of hateful crap," which is mostly "untrue."

O'Reilly challenged Klein to appear on his show, but he declined - or "he's scared."

"The Factor reaches more people in one hour than Time magazine does in a week," O'Reilly jabs. "This is now the network of record, and the left doesn't like it." Later in the segment, O'Reilly proclaims Fox News "the most powerful news organization in the world." Yet within moments, he says of his show's audience: "We're real close to Katie Couric numbers."

Bernie Goldberg also appears and wonders where Klein was when a commentator at MSNBC (Keith Olbermann?) was talking "hateful crap" about President Bush.

He also had a warning for the Obama White House: "They're not in Chicago anymore." For the Obama administration to provoke Fox News like they have been doing, "That's not Presidential," he argues. "That's what a mayor does... It's beneath a President to do this."

  • @Peanutof85 As with Joe Klein, you also gave NO example of lies. Typical.

  • fox is a joke!

  • fox does lie... oreilly is dork lol

  • @OneHitKill91 are you saying there is something wrong with being conservative?

  • @DearSamiCountMeiN513 in all fairness id have to agree with you on that but you do have to admit that when republicans screw up its much worse than when democrats do not to mention democrats dont lie all the time like (mainstream) republicans do

  • So he writes an article on how Fox lies, and doesn't include examples?

  • "Who on Fox is inciting rebellion?" About a year later you have your answer. *cough*GlennBeck*cough*

I don't mind hearing the conservative point of view - it's important to consider all sides of an issue. But I've seen too many interviews on Fox where *only* the conservative side is presented and the liberal view (be it media or government) is simply vilified.

As for lies: how about Bills' editing on an interview with Goodwin Liu, which dihonestly represented him as being pro-reparations?

  • @Kahvelisika Butt out FUCKWAD! Stay in your cave. No one cares about your opinion.

  • Fox News, we'll do the thinking for you!

  • Truth Police? Wow. It's like I woke up in 1984.
