"Now, Voyager" Parody

It's late at night , you're watching a SH*TTY old print of "Now, Voyager," & Bette's smoking gets a little out of hand. Are you imagining it because you are bleary eyed, or is the ending somehow different? No matter, no one seemed to mind much in this rare lost print. I did this at an age when I vaguely resembled Bette, and ended up playing Henried too. It was just - easier.

@MGMstar Glad you liked it! This was done ages ago on VHS (as are a lot of my personal faves were!). I was only able to "do" Bette Davis when I was exactly 37. 37.  I don't know why. I did others, which I will post when I can. Now, 10 years later, it's harder to pull off Bette (although "Baby Jane" wouldn't be too far a stretch...) : O

we all know what "smoking" is a metaphor for in those wonderful films...but you have taken that to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL of metaphor with your BIG O ending....so liberating! xoxoxoxoxoxo Miss Clawdia

Come to think of it, back when I was, well, thirty-seven, I *DID* do Bette as Baby Jane singing the "Letter to Daddy" song to (myself as) Blanche.  A form of torture, worse than rats and parakeets. I have it buried in my VHS stuff. One day when I find it I will post it and let you know. : )

(And yes, she SMOKES in it, even though in the real film Jane does NOT. But hey, it's BETTE).
