  • Right on, Keith. They are all Fascist bastards...and they need to go.

  • Same old Republican tricks, new generation of historically ignorant idiots fooled by them.

Fascist bastard is the PERFECT term for Scott Walker and his minions.

  • @notpornvideos toccata and fugue in d minor by Bach. I don't know why he chose that classical piece but it's fitting.

  • I love the Futurama reference at 1:11

  • good show, but what the fuck's up with the music?!? lols

  • So good to see Keith back and still sticking his foot up the tea baggers @zz

  • @gwydion56 It is heartless. They should go ahead and save the home, and then charge a fee. But not saving the home when they could is inexcusable, in my book. Or if they don't want to do that, then add the damned fee to the property taxes. But you should NEVER let someone's home burn. Period.

  • @getplaning : Then the fire department would have taken every measure needed to rescue the people, but NOT to save the home. Many volunteer fire departments operate this way. They receive no tax funds, so they sell "fire contracts" (for an annual fee to subscribers) which are used to purchase equipment and training. It seems heartless, but without the threat of having your home burn down, almost no one would pay the fee. "Fee for Service" in action.

  • The GOP only works for their EMPLOYERS, not the American people. We all see it. They only represent the filthy rich and will do ANYTHING, including throwing your grandma and kids into the street, homeless, to protect the rich from a crummy 3% tax increase.

Time to vote them all out as they are unfit.

  • @YY4Me133

Dunno. I'm guessing it's one of two things. Either,

    1. We've fallen through some cosmic looking glass, and are now actually LIVING inside Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, or

    2. When you've got 9% unemployment, and the Mayor tells a bunch of firemen that their job is now to stand around WATCHING houses burn, they'll probably just do it and STFU.

I'm thinking the Bradbury thing is the optimist view at this point.

  • "That is simply, historically not true..."

Love the way Newt has to weasel the words "historical" or "history" into every other sentence to remind us that he has a degree in History. Because without the History degree he'd be just another fat, corrupt, cranky old political whore and lobbyist.

Meh...maybe I'd do the same thing.

  • @Venator70

Correction: small jerkwater towns full of imbeciles who think it's a good idea to fund the Fire Department through VOLUNTARY taxes (rather than taxes leveed by democratically elected citizen representatives in compliance with a Constitution which limits govt power...something libertarians define as "violent theft") is what the world WOULD look like if libertarians ever get a chance to run it. (Or maybe Somalia is a better example. *shrug*)
